About us
At Reodor Studios, we help ambitious companies turn growth goals into business reality. Over the last years we've scaled fast – talented people, dozens of high-impact projects, and a growing portfolio of ventures. Our work spans strategy, design, and technology—but unlike most consultancies, we don't stop at advice. Where others stop at slides, we build, test, and launch.
We combine consulting and venture building to help companies find new revenue streams, expand into new markets, and develop or improve products and services. With a touch of humility, we dare say we're specialists in early-stage innovation – working from insights and concepts all the way to market-ready solutions. Things move fast here, and we make sure ideas turn into something concrete and valuable.
What sets us apart is how we blend consulting with the ability to actually build new companies. We have a team that matches our ambitions: economists, product designers, cybernetics experts, creative technologists—and more than two-thirds of us have founded or run companies ourselves.
Our tech team currently works closely with our design and business teams to develop solutions across industries. We are in an exciting growth phase and are now expanding the team with several roles, including Creative Technologist.
About the role
As a Creative Technologist at Reodor, you will be more than just a problem solver behind the keyboard—you will be an active contributor to the entire product journey. The role is about combining solid technical expertise with an interest in users, business, and strategy.
You will work closely with designers, business developers, and clients to understand why we are building something and take a leading role in shaping how we build it. This means you will often contribute to several projects at once, where you set direction, take responsibility for architecture and technology choices, and ensure our solutions are both robust and scalable.
At Reodor, developers work with state-of-the-art technology and are involved in the whole process. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the products they build, thrives at the intersection of technology, design, and strategy, and is driven to create solutions that both excite users and strengthen clients' bottom lines.
As a Creative Technologist with us, you will:
Take technical leadership – Help set direction for architecture and technology choices, and ensure our solutions are both robust, scalable, and adapted to real user needs.
Be part of the entire product journey – From idea and concept, through prototyping and testing, to implementation and ongoing iteration. You will help connect insights, strategy, and technology into practical solutions.
Contribute to multiple projects at once – Use your technical expertise to support different teams, share best practices, and be a sparring partner for designers, business developers, and clients.
Work full-stack and hands-on – Engage in hands-on development across the stack. You are self-sufficient, needing minimal intervention to solve problems assigned to you.
Collaborate across disciplines – Work with business, technology, and design teams to turn strategic visions into concrete technical solutions.
We're looking for someone who:
Has at least 2–5 years of relevant experience as a developer, preferably from an agency, consulting firm, or startup environment, and with work across different industries. Maybe you have also run your own projects or companies? It's not a requirement, but a big plus!
You have:
2–5 years of relevant experience as a developer, with a solid understanding of principles and practices in modern software development
Experience running and developing production-ready applications, as well as handling different technical challenges
A pragmatic approach to technology and tools—you choose what best solves the problem, not necessarily the most "hyped"
The ability to combine technical depth with insight into product development, strategy, and user needs
Shown interest and contributed outside your core expertise, for example in product management, UI/UX design, or product strategy
Strong collaboration skills, and enjoy working closely in cross-disciplinary teams with designers, business developers, and other technologists
A curious and proactive approach—you take ownership of projects and drive them forward
With us, it's important to be self-driven, pragmatic, and solution-oriented. You need to enjoy creating momentum and actively contributing to several projects in a high-paced environment.
What we can offer:
An ambitious and dynamic environment where you get the chance to contribute across many areas of the business. Exciting projects where we are involved all the way—from identifying a challenge to launching new concepts in the market. And yes, we work with the fun part!
Flexible working hours and the freedom to shape your own workday
A social start-up environment characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing, entrepreneurship, openness, and humor
Competitive terms and the opportunity to participate in our share program
6 weeks of vacation and the option of 4 weeks of workation, where you can work from abroad
The opportunity to pitch your ideas as potential ventures we might invest in and build
Market-leading insurance package and gym membership
Social and professional events, such as an annual kick-off (we've been to Italy, Morocco, France, and Spain) and ski trips to the company cabin in Ål
