About us
At Reodor Studios, we help ambitious companies turn growth goals into business reality. Over the last years we've scaled fast, with talented people, dozens of high-impact projects, and a growing portfolio of ventures. Our work spans strategy, design, and technology, but unlike most consultancies, we don't stop at advice. Where others stop at slides, we build, test, and launch.
We combine consulting and venture building to help companies find new revenue streams, expand into new markets, and develop or improve products and services. With a touch of humility, we dare say we're specialists in early-stage innovation, working from insights and concepts all the way to market-ready solutions. Things move fast here, and we make sure ideas turn into something concrete and valuable.
What sets us apart is how we blend consulting with the ability to actually build new companies. We have a team that matches our ambitions: economists, product designers, cybernetics experts, creative technologists, and more than two-thirds of us have founded and run our own companies.
Our design team currently consists of four talented individuals who work closely with our tech and business teams. We are in an exciting growth phase and are now expanding the team with several roles, including Product Designer.
As a Product Designer at Reodor, you will play a key role in developing digital products that are both user-centered and business-oriented. You'll conduct insight work to understand real user needs and market opportunities, and this insight will form the foundation for strategic product decisions and direction.
You'll lead and facilitate design processes together with our cross-functional team, where ideation, concept development, prototyping, and testing are central. At the same time, you'll work closely with our clients to ensure that products meet their goals and provide clear value in the market. You'll use various methods and tools to visualize and communicate concepts, and you'll iterate continuously based on user feedback.
Business understanding is an essential part of the role – it's important that you can connect design decisions to the client's overall strategy and revenue goals. We envision that you're driven by identifying opportunities that create measurable results, and that you thrive working at the intersection of design, technology, and business to create holistic products that both delight users and benefit clients' bottom lines.
As a Product Designer with us, you will:
Conduct insight and analysis work: Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative user research, analyze insights, and use this as the foundation for strategic design decisions.
Create interactive prototypes: Use strong visual skills to develop user-friendly flows, wireframes, and prototypes that clarify how digital products should function and feel.
Design intuitive and visually appealing solutions: Create UI that is both aesthetic and contributes to a seamless user experience. You'll be responsible for ensuring that everything from color usage and typography to layout and information architecture works well together.
Iterate and improve: Continuously refine designs based on feedback and testing. We envision that you're driven to create solutions that constantly evolve in line with user needs that emerge along the way.
Collaborate across disciplines: Work together with business, technology, and design teams to translate strategic visions into concrete design solutions.
We're looking for someone who:
Has at least 4 years of experience as a designer, preferably from an agency or consultancy, and with work across different industries. Perhaps you've also been in a start-up environment or run your own projects or companies? It's not a requirement, but a significant plus!
You have:
A solid portfolio that demonstrates work in both UX and UI, with examples of user studies, concept development, wireframes, prototypes, and visual design.
Mastery of fundamental design principles and know how to create intuitive interfaces.
Good understanding of user-focused design methodology and experience analyzing data and insights to create user-centered solutions.
The ability to work closely with developers and understand technical possibilities and limitations.
A sharp eye for details, but also the ability to lift your gaze and see the whole picture in products, services, and business models.
A proactive and initiative-driven approach – you take ownership of projects and your own learning.
Experience designing for complex systems (e.g., software as a service, industrial solutions, or B2B platforms).
An experimental approach to design, with the ability to work with uncertainty, rapid iterations, and challenge established methods.
Experience with illustration, animation, or 3D is a plus, but not a requirement.
With us, it's important to be self-driven, pragmatic, curious, and action-oriented – you must thrive on making things happen, often at a high pace.
What we can offer:
An ambitious and dynamic environment where you get the opportunity to contribute across the company's many areas. Exciting projects where we're involved all the way – from identifying a challenge to launching new concepts in the market. And yes, we work on the most fun part!
Flexible working hours and great freedom to shape your own workday.
A social start-up environment characterized by collaboration, knowledge sharing, entrepreneurship, openness, and humor.
Competitive terms and the opportunity to participate in our share program.
6 weeks of vacation and the possibility of 4 weeks workation, where you can work from abroad.
The opportunity to pitch your ideas as possible ventures we can invest in building.
Social and professional events, such as an annual kick-off (we've been to Italy, France, and Morocco) and a ski trip to the company cabin in Ål.
